The all-new experiences further enhance Universal Beijing Resort’s offering of contemporary trendy entertainment elements brought together to create whole new entertainment experiences. Combined with specialty food and beverage, customized thematic merchandise, and immersive accommodations, Universal Beijing Resort provides guests with most up-to-date entertainment vacation experiences in one amazing Blockbuster World.
Starting from April 8, 2022, Universal Beijing Resort will launch a series of exciting new thematic entertainment experiences, beginning with the debut of “Universal Studios Beijing: Honor of Kings Heroes LIVE”. Over the next few months, more experiences will be rolled out at the Resort, including the newly built Minion-themed hotel rooms based on Illumination's globally popular Despicable Me franchise will be launched in The Universal Studios Grand Hotel soon, creating a one-stop destination of Minion-themed fun. Later in the year, new Jurassic World Isla Nublar thematic experiences will see dinosaurs on the run in the Resort, creating more surprises around every corner in the Blockbuster World.
Universal Beijing Resort continues to bring popular culture’s most compelling stories and characters to life. Each land at Universal Beijing Resort contains a magnificently themed mix of attractions, shows, shops and restaurants, awaiting guest enjoyment such as Kung Fu Panda Land of Awesomeness, Transformers Metrobase, Minion Land, The Wizarding World of Harry PotterTM, Jurassic World Isla Nublar, Hollywood and WaterWorld. All of these new blockbuster experiences will enhance the excitement of the Blockbuster World which has already been providing amazing experiences for guests since the grand opening.
Alongside the exciting lineup of thematic events and experiences, Universal Beijing Resort will also continue to spare no effort in strengthening and strictly implementing a series of Covid-19 prevention measures to create a safe and healthy environment for guests. Measures include health screening for all guests and increased sanitization and disinfection frequency, which includes the complete disinfection and cleaning of the entire resort after daily operations, easy-to-access disinfection and hygiene facilities for guests, frequent reminders to practice social distancing, and more. In accordance with national Covid-19 measures, guests must register on the Universal Beijing Resort Official App to reserve a time slot before entering the Resort. Guests are also asked to wear face masks, maintain social distancing, and take personal protective measures at all times. Journey of Honor of Kings Experience: Universal Studios Beijing: Honor of Kings Heroes LIVE Thematic Event Leads the New Entertainment Experiences
On April 8, 2022, the new Honor of Kings thematic event, Universal Studios Beijing: Honor of Kings Heroes LIVE, will arrive in Hollywood, running through July 3. Universal Beijing Resort has partnered with Honor of Kings franchise under Tencent to bring to life the characters and the legendary world of Chang’An area from the hugely popular Honor of Kings franchise through unique theme park experiences, including Honor of Kings Heroes on Parade, Honor of Kings Heroes Meet and Greet, as well as Honor of Kings thematic merchandise.
As a newly developed parade, the all-new Honor of Kings Heroes on Parade consists of four floats and features eleven heroes, eight soldiers, twelve dancers, and six flag-bearers from the franchise. The parade is based on the royal parade held by empress Wu Zetian in Chang’An City in Honor of Kings and depicts a battle between red and blue factions who fight it out through a gripping storyline. The parade features the “core” and many of the iconic facilities from the series, as well as catchphrases by Honor of Kings characters. The parade starts from the entrance of Universal Studios Beijing and runs through Hollywood Boulevard before ending at Universal Majestic Theatre.
Following the parade, the “core” appears again at the end of Hollywood Boulevard, where an elaborate stage inspired by the King’s Canyon has been built for the Honor of Kings Heroes Meet and Greet. During the meet and greet, six heroes from the franchise will take turns to appear on stage and interact with the audience.
In addition to the parade and meet and greet, Universal Studios Beijing: Honor of Kings Heroes LIVE will also include a variety of thematic merchandise for guests to purchase. These include limited-edition products for hardcore Honor of Kings fans, stylish products for trendsetters, and cute-looking products for the young generation. Each merchandise collection caters to a diverse range of guests, enabling everyone to bring home their own memories from the Blockbuster World. Further to the themed merchandise, food carts in Hollywood will be offering thematic food for guests to enjoy.
Meet Illumination’s Minions: Added Immersive Experiences Arrive as Minion-Themed Hotel Rooms Will Be Launched Soon
With their infectious sense of humor, adorable looks, and signature style, Minions have been the stars of many classic movie scenes, earning them the love and adoration of people around the world. Since its grand opening in 2021, Universal Beijing Resort has been providing guests with one-of-a-kind Minions experiences, including rides, entertainment, dining, and merchandise. With the Jurassic World movie series approaching its epic ending, many of the movies’ iconic dinosaurs will be escaping from the big screen to run rampage over Universal Beijing Resort. A wealth of entertainment experiences, accommodations, and ticketed products will also make their debut, extending the thrills of the movie series throughout Universal Beijing Resort. This spring, nature will bring its own magic to Universal Beijing Resort as fresh shades of green and other vibrant colors adorn the Resort. To help guests get the most out of their visit to the Blockbuster World, Universal Studios Beijing will begin offering Two-Visit Half-Day General Admission Ticket and Dated Ticket Early Bird Special.
- Two-Visit Half-Day General Admission Ticket: guests who purchase Two-Visit Half-Day General Admission Ticket can enter the park after 14:00 on two separate dates between April 17 and June 30, 2022.
- Dated Ticket Early Bird Special: from April 15, guests who purchase One-Day Dated Ticket and 1.5-Day Dated Ticket at least seven days prior to the date of admission, will receive a discount of around 10% off the ticketed price.
