Universal Beijing Resort invites guests to relax to the rhythm of the beat, and cool down with refreshing sprays of water while enjoying in the fun experiences of the blockbuster movie world. In addition, dozens of cool and delicious snacks, playful summer-themed merchandise, immersive-themed vacation packages, and the first ever weekend street music performance at Universal CityWalk Beijing will also be provided to guests. Throughout the Universal Cool Summer experience, the volume will be turned up to the max for the new Universal Cool Summer show, setting the beat for music and fun beyond imagination at the Hollywood Amphitheater. This amazing summer party features an incredible lineup of competitive DJs, stage effects, and fun water dance effects to unleash the full energy of summer that guests cannot miss. The “Super DJs” and their friends made up of fan-favorite Universal Studios characters are ready to take the stage. Bumblebee will join other beloved blockbuster characters and compete for the title of DJ Champion, marking his first debut on stage since the resort’s grand opening. Together with a troupe of dancers, each dressed in colorful summer attire, the Universal Cool Summer show unleashes the summer spirit and invites guests to enjoy a fun party with dynamic music and immersive water effects.
The Universal Cool Summer multi-function fountain stage is well-crafted, with various entertainment water facilities such as water cannons, fancy water sprinklers and inflatable balls etc., transforming the whole area into an interactive pop dance and water play arena, further providing guests with a fun-packed water party perfect for the summer. Moreover, multiple large outdoor screens will also be visible to capture the best dance moves and highlights from the crowd real-time, so everyone will have their moment to shine on the big stage and find their authentic selves during this cool summer. Sunset Grill has launched a new summer set menu bursting with delicious seasonal ingredients meticulously prepared with exceptional craft. On June 22, NUO Resort Hotel will introduce The Wizarding World of Harry Potter™ Staycation Package, comprehensively creating a wonderful magical getaway for guests. Around two-thirds of all attractions and venues at Universal Beijing Resort are either indoors or covered, and certain outdoor queuing areas are also equipped with electric fans and mist machines. Free water fountains are located throughout the resort for guests to refill their water bottles and stay hydrated before getting back to the fun.
Guests can also better plan for their trip by using the Universal Beijing Resort Official App, Alibaba mini program or WeChat mini program. From June 12, General Admission Ticket guests (such as General Admission Ticket-Group of Two, Ticket-Group of Three) and annual passholders need to make reservations on the above channels prior to entry. Exclusive entrance is also available for annual passholders. On the official App and mini programs, pathways between attractions and queue times are clearly displayed so that guests can arrange their visit in the theme park according to their itinerary while also taking into account the weather on the day.
