From September 5 through November 2, 2025, Universal Beijing Resort unleashes its reimagined Scares @ Universal autumn seasonal spectacle. Throughout the event, Universal Studio Beijing premieres an exclusive, limited-run spectacular that unites the breakout star Emo Tu and the rising superstar Foxy Lady on one stage for the very first time. HamiKuma, the beloved character from the Universal Studio family, will also join the performance as a special guest, together bringing guests a grand HamiKuma Hallow-Palooza. During the 2025 Scares @ Universal event, nighttime experiences including themed performances and haunted mazes, will be open for a limited time from Thursday to the following Monday each week (not open on September 18 and October 2, but open on September 16, September 30, and October 29). Guests can check the nighttime experience calendar through Universal Beijing Resort's official channels, such as the Universal Beijing Resort Official App, Alipay Mini-Program, or WeChat Mini-Program. "Dare to" Revelry Kicks Off, New Characters Arrive with Stunning Debut

Universal Beijing Resort's "Scares" characters share an epic gathering – Emo Tu, Foxy Lady, and special guest HamiKuma, three super icons, make their first joint appearance at Universal Beijing Resort for a limited time. From thematic decorations to stunning performances, with their "dare to" attitude of tearing off the "cute" label and refusing to be defined, they ignite a "Scares" revelry storm that dares guests to scream, laugh, and cheer louder than ever.

Hailing from the Universal Studio family and making his debut at Universal Beijing Resort, HamiKuma, the Charisma King refusing to be called "cute", ready to breaking conventions and unleashing true selves with guests. Meanwhile, the breakout star Emo Tu, who has gained immense popularity, will return in full punk attire and showcase multiple charms, from sweet, innocent, to rebellious. And Foxy Lady, another new original character from Universal Beijing Resort, is a confident stage queen. She will display her undefined unique charm on the Scares @ Universal stage, writing her own new legend.

The three icons will lead their crews onto the stage for an ultimate "showdown" accompanied by diverse, distinct hot dances, inviting guests to join this undefined HamiKuma Hallow-Palooza and cheer for their favorite characters! "Dare-to-Thrill" Heartbeat Accelerates, Limited-Time Experiences Roll Out

Two new haunted mazes make a grand debut, bringing immersive, film-quality experiences and double the heart-pounding thrills. In Universal Monsters Crypt, which gathers five  characters including Dracula, Mummy, Frankenstein, Phantom, and The Wolf Man[2]，guests will transform into "dare to" adventurers, experiencing multi-sensory impacts in the mysterious spaces filled with hidden secrets.

Stepping into The House of Hua Pi[3], guests will observe untold mysterious stories in the unknown and darkness in person, uncovering long-sealed secrets, and experiencing the unique charm of fantastical narrative in the theme park.

"Scares" continues, and the popular Jack's Circus and House NO. 81 will also return for a limited time. Guests can follow the classic Universal Studio’s character Jack the Clown to explore the stories behind the scenes of the circus, or discover the secrets hidden in the film set of House NO. 81. At the same time, this year's two Scare Zones also arrive.
